Sanitation Utility

What You Will Do

• Production Area Sanitation: Clean floors, drains, and walls in production areas to maintain hygiene standards. Inventory sanitation items and maintain the chemical storage area (put barrels and totes where needed).
• Plant Cleanliness: Regularly monitor and maintain cleanliness throughout the plant.
• Equipment Cleaning: Assist in cleaning equipment using Clean-In-Place (CIP) procedures.
• Grounds: Cleans up the plant’s exterior, including trash pickup.
• Tool Organization: Maintain and organize cleaning tools such as mop buckets, brooms, and dust mops.
• Training Compliance: Successfully complete GMP and other quality control training courses.
• Forklift Operation: Pass Darigold forklift training and operate the forklift as needed.
• Other Duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to learn the job within four weeks.
• General understanding of sanitation and GMPs.
• Must be proficient in computers.
• Ability to climb and assemble and disassemble equipment.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds frequently, between floor level and chest level and above shoulder height.

Pay

$19.62 to $24.53 per hour, based on contract brackets. Hourly Union specific contract per location.
