Sanitation Technician

About the role

Join our team as a Sanitation Technician and play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of production equipment, facility areas, and tools in accordance with SSOPs, GMPs, and company standards. This position supports food safety and quality initiatives while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize assigned areas, including production lines, equipment, floors, walls, and facility areas per SSOP and Master Cleaning Schedule.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, genie booms, and automated floor scrubbers.
• Use and handle cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
• Perform self-inspections and document sanitation activities accurately.
• Maintain sanitation logs and report any damage or unsafe conditions.
• Support food safety and quality programs by identifying and reporting deviations.
• Assist with packing, sorting, and material handling as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and GMPs.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-training.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow SOPs and chemical labels.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math and reading comprehension.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous sanitation or manufacturing experience.

Pay

Base Pay Range: $16.36 - $27.26 per hour. Final base pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, role responsibilities, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and internal pay equity.
