Sanitation Technician - 3rd shift

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Effective sanitation of the various plant equipment and departments.
• Follow equipment cleaning instructions as listed in the Sanitation Procedures Manual.
• Comply with GMP’s, proper sanitation, and housekeeping in area.
• Use required safety equipment and comply with proper safety procedures including wearing proper protective clothing, steal toed boots and safety googles/face shield at all times.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Become familiar with cleaning chemicals by name, function, and usage rate and become chemical certified.
• Follow verbal instructions from Supervisor.
• Be detail oriented and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating a pallet jack.
• Experience using a variety of equipment including a power washer.

Essential Skills And Abilities

• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance procedures a variety of instructions, diagrams or schedules.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team.

Physical Demands

• Regularly stand and talk or hear.
• Frequently walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 70 pounds.

Pay And Benefits

• Starting hourly rate: $20.50.
