Reporting Duties
- Support sanitation and basic janitorial operations
- Work onsite in a manufacturing environment
- Ensure equipment, production areas, and facility spaces are cleaned, sanitized, and maintained to meet safety, quality, and food safety standards
Work Schedule
- 4-day work week
- Weekend work on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Three 12-hour shifts per weekend, starting between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
- One additional 12-hour shift during the week
- Additional shifts may be added, and existing shifts may be adjusted based on business needs
- Accommodates frequent holiday work
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning, sanitation, and basic janitorial duties across production areas, offices, and common spaces
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, floors, walls, and facility surfaces
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment as needed for proper cleaning
- Follow sanitation procedures, safety guidelines such as Lock Out Tag Out, and regulatory standards
- Properly use cleaning chemicals, tools, and personal protective equipment
- Remove waste, dispose of materials correctly, and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility
- Inspect equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards
- Document sanitation activities and report any issues to leadership
- Support production teams by ensuring equipment and areas are ready for operation
- Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in sanitation, janitorial, or manufacturing environments preferred
- Knowledge of sanitation processes and food safety standards preferred
- Mechanical aptitude to disassemble and reassemble equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime
- Commitment to following all safety and sanitation procedures
Physical Requirements
- Being on your feet, walking around the facility
- Climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time
- Frequent lifting, pushing or carrying materials
