About the company

Our founders, food industry veterans Mike and Tisha, aim to improve food quality by creating a new kind of farm. This farm grows up to 300 times more food than an open-field farm on a smaller footprint, using renewable energy, 95% less water, and delivering food within 48 hours. 80 Acres Farms operates commercial farms in Ohio, Kentucky, and Georgia, along with research and development farms in Arkansas and the Netherlands. Their products, such as salads, microgreens, herbs, and tomatoes, are sold at major retailers and food service distributors.

Position overview

We seek driven individuals who can foster a positive team environment. This role involves supporting the farm team by ensuring supplies are readily available and maintaining a clean and sanitized work area. Key responsibilities include pressure washing equipment, cleaning and sanitizing production equipment, keeping sanitation logs, and assisting with production tasks as needed.

Key responsibilities & duties

  • Pressure wash industrial equipment with care
  • Disassemble, clean, and sanitize production equipment
  • Keep and maintain sanitation logs
  • Reassemble production equipment
  • General cleaning in all areas (break room, restrooms, production, etc.)
  • Mop designated areas and empty garbage as needed
  • Clear communication with team and supervisor on completed duties
  • Auxiliary tasks as assigned

Shift

Shift: 6:00 am - 4:30 pm (Monday - Saturday), one day off during the week, and off on Sundays.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Industrial Cleaning 1 year (preferred)
  • Manufacturing 1 year (preferred)
  • Pressure washing experience preferred
  • Ability to operate machinery, use a ladder, & lift up to 50 lbs
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent and prompt attendance
