About the role
A Sanitor will ensure overall sanitation of the Liquid Products Operations department equipment and operations by practicing food safety and following health regulations.
Responsibilities
- Adheres to safety, food safety, quality, and legal compliance.
- Perform all work in accordance with environmental, health, and safety standards, rules, regulations, and practices of the facility.
- Must be able to pass training/certifications as required for qualifications.
- Responsible for the overall sanitation of the Liquid Product Operations Department, involving dry cleaning, rinsing, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
- Ability to break down LPO processing equipment and reassemble equipment.
- Ability to wash, scrub, and clean equipment using chemicals.
- Ensure equipment is cleaned to pass pre-op inspections and swabs.
- Observe and analyze equipment performance and report any problems to your supervisor.
- Document completed work as required by the supervisor.
- Compliance with all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- You should be comfortable working on your feet for long periods, moving around the production area, and using cleaning tools and equipment.
- This role includes frequent bending, reaching, twisting, gripping, and occasional climbing, kneeling, and lifting.
- You may occasionally lift and carry heavy items, up to 100 lbs, as part of the job.
- You must be able to wear required safety gear, follow safety procedures, and work around cleaning chemicals and operating equipment.
- The environment is wet, noisy, and fast-paced, and may include slippery surfaces, temperature changes, and elevated work areas.
- You should be able to read simple instructions, write basic notes, and use basic math for production paperwork.
- Training is provided, but you should be comfortable learning equipment cleaning procedures, safe chemical handling, and sanitation standards.
Qualifications

Pay & Benefits
Pay Range (Base Pay): $21.20/hr. – $23.84/hr. Other Compensation: May include shift differentials, overtime pay, bonuses, or other incentive pay as applicable to the position and location.
