Major Functional Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitation of food processing rooms using equipment in a thorough & safe manner.
• Daily duties include but are not limited to cleaning, sanitizing surfaces & sanitizing processing equipment in production, such as machinery, tables, sheet pans, racks, scoops, etc., sweeping, mopping, breaking down boxes, picking up cardboard/debris/meat scraps, emptying & preparing trash bins, and cleaning trash areas, etc.
• Launder items as required.
• Pulls pallets and cleans product bays on rotating basis.
• Operate industrial cleaning & sanitation systems/equipment and cleaning chemicals as trained and specified.
• Maintain facility grounds and dumpster areas as required.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area throughout the facility and common areas.

Required Qualifications

• Required Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• Work Experience: 1 - 3 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably food handling or processing
• Required Qualifications: Familiarity or experience in SQF facility preferred
• Willing to perform all tasks when and were assigned and as changing situations arise.
• Ability to understand to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Ability to perform repeated tasks with attention to detail.
• Able to stand, walk, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e. cooler, freezer and dry.
• Maintain professional, positive attitude and good work ethics
• Must be able to work the scheduled/ assigned times and required overtime for this position.
