Pay

Pay rates start at $19.00 per hour with shift premiums of $0.50 for hours worked 4pm-midnight and $1.00 for hours worked midnight-8am. A longevity premium of $0.25 is added after one year of service, and an attendance premium of $0.25 is also provided.

Essential Job Duties

• Clean the facility (inside and out) on a nightly basis.
• Adhere to company safety and attendance policies.
• Apply chemicals and high-pressure hot (140 F) water to clean and sanitize processing equipment as assigned.
• Sanitize assigned plant areas on time and in accordance with Pre-Operations inspection by Quality Control and USDA standards.
• Keep non-production areas clean and orderly, including breakrooms, bathrooms, smoking areas, parking lot, and other necessary areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervision and/or Lead personnel.
• Make suggestions on improving processes.

Qualifications

• Report regularly and on time to work, including overtime and weekends as scheduled.
• Work safely and model good working habits.
• Obtain and operate a pallet jack certificate.
• Be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 80 pounds, and perform repetitive pushing, pulling, and lifting between 10 - 80 lbs.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
