Sanitation Operator
About the role
The Sanitation Operator is responsible to inspect, train and follow the American Dairy Association and the United States Department of Agriculture guidelines, the American Institute of Baking regulations, the Food and Drug Administration regulations and company policies. Responsible for sanitizing assigned equipment according to FDA and USDA regulations, quality specifications and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Safely dispense, titrate, store smocks, gloves, and cleaning chemicals per standards.
- Perform ATP testing, log results, and inspect manufacturing lines, equipment, and outdoor areas for sanitation compliance.
- Work safely around large processing equipment; use cleaning agents, power cleaning tools, and assist with transporting heavy objects using proper machinery.
- Accurately complete all required digital and/or hardcopy documentation throughout the shift.
- Participate in safety and facility training, consistently adhere to PPE and GMP guidelines, and work effectively in wet environments with temperature variations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6+ months of experience working with chemical safety practices in an industrial manufacturing setting required, food manufacturing preferred.
- Sanitation experience must be within the last five (5) years.
- Certifications in forklift, high lift, and articulated (boom) lift preferred or ability to obtain certifications required.

- Demonstrates adaptability, technical proficiency, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills while working independently or collaboratively to ensure effective and logical decision-making in diverse situations.
- Physically capable of bending frequently and lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds), alongside proficiency in safely operating Powered Industrial Vehicles to support workplace operations.
Skills

Pay
$29.30 USD hourly + bonus eligibility + hourly pay differential for applicable shifts
Schedule
Available Shifts: PM Shift (6PM-6AM) on a 2-2-3 schedule. Shift differential offered. AM Shift (6AM-6PM) on a 2-2-3 schedule.
