KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operating power scrubber, sweeping, dusting, mopping, removing debris from the aisle ways, recouping damaged product, and stacking of pallets emptied by the shipping department.
- Operating warehouse equipment, such as electric order machines, fork-lifts, and a variety of other power tools.
- Ensuring a safe work environment by promoting adherence to OSHA and company safety policies.
- Maintaining cleanliness of assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, and transporting pallets.
- Upkeeping periodic work orders assigned by supervisors.
COMPETENCIES
- Lift 40-45 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs periodically.
- Excellent time management and task prioritization.
- Ability to work in moderately cold temperatures for long periods.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including electric order machines, fork-lifts, and various power tools.
- Meet attendance requirements.
- Communicate effectively using hearing, speaking, reading, and understanding English.
- Be reliable, responsible, and dependable.
- Work in high places as required by job duties.
