Sanitation Machine/Facility Technician - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Rigorously follows the master cleaning schedule to prepare the plant for audits.
• Cleans and sanitizes the interior and exterior of the production facility.
• Operates various cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, rack washers, floor scrubbers, scissor lifts, and forklifts.
• Dismantles, cleans, and reassembles equipment for the next production run.
• Transports trash and waste to the tilt truck and disposal area.
• Maintains cleanliness outside the bakery facility, including silos, front entrance, exterior dock doors, and sewage treatment plant.
• Works with integrity to adhere to safety, food safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Wears personal protective equipment and uses lockout/tagout procedures.
• Improves quality of work by looking for ways to improve and applying feedback.
• Reports safety, food safety, and quality issues to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED; related experience in bakery or manufacturing industries; experience with boom and scissor lifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Pay

$22.21/hour, with a $3.00/hour shift differential for working 4+ consecutive hours between 3pm-7am.

Schedule

12:30pm - 9pm on designated rotations, with potential for over-time on weekends and holidays.
