Sanitation Lead (Night)

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform cleaning & sanitizing of workstations, trash running, sweeping debris, and mopping
• Clean non-food contact surfaces, floors, drains, walls, windows, offices, bathrooms, uniform room, and cafeteria
• Maintain product storage racks, coolers, freezers, warehouse, and waste-controlled areas
• Clean trash cans
• Observe and monitor daily cleaning functions of all production and non-production areas as required
• Ensure all welfare areas (cafeteria, bathrooms, locker rooms, staircases, elevators, etc.) meet hygiene requirements and supplies are sufficiently stocked
• Sort, count, and stack cleaning chemicals and janitorial supplies within the chemical cage and distribute them to respective areas
• Maintain cleaning tools
• Ensure drains are covered and free of accumulated debris and food
• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in standard sanitation operational procedures
• Report problems with the food safety management system to management and the hygiene and food safety team
• Perform other activities as assigned by supervisor and management
• Upkeep and maintain food safety

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a janitor, cleaner, or housekeeping attendant preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning protocols and chemicals
• Proactive and self-organized
• Ability to manage a substantial workload
• Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to complete assigned tasks within strict deadlines
• Ability to move, lift, carry, pull, or push as needed
• Flexibility to work different shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays)

Pay

Hourly wage: $28.16
