Sanitation Labor 3rd Shift - Bowling Green, KY

Job Summary

This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and areas to ensure compliance with food safety and company standards.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Perform dry pick-up of inedible materials from equipment and floors
• Clean equipment using high-pressure hoses
• Execute cleaning and sanitation activities using approved chemical agents (sanitizers, acids, caustics)
• Supports sanitation operations by handling chemical agents, including defoamers, and performing mixing activities in accordance with established procedures.
• Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is ready for production
• Supports USDA, HACCP, and GMP policies to ensure food safety
• Follows all company safety procedures, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out
• Wears all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Completes additional tasks as assigned to support sanitation operations
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed

Requirements

• Willing and able to work in wet, humid, and extremely cold environments
• Willing and able to work with cleaning chemicals, including caustic agents
• Willing and able to work in elevated areas and around electrical equipment as needed
• Willing and able to work weekends and overtime as needed

Physical Requirements

• Willing and able to stand for the duration of the shift (8-10 hours)
• Willing and able to perform frequent walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, and climbing
• Willing and able to operate high-pressure hoses for extended periods
• Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
