SANITATION HOURLY

About the Role

This position is for the 3rd shift sanitation team at JBS® Pork, a leader in premium pork products. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing machinery and floors in a production line setting to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize machinery and floors in a production line setting.
• Handle all basic cleaning in and around the assigned area.
• Set up, stock, and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Monitor and maintain sanitation and organization of assigned areas.
• Follow all lock-out, tag-out procedures.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to walk for 4–8 hours daily.
• Must be able to work in a cold and damp environment.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs on occasion.
• Ability to stoop and bend at the waist on occasion.
• Good attendance and safety records.
• Must follow all JBS safety policies and procedures.

Working Conditions

• Production and maintenance settings.
• Exposure to various chemicals, machinery, and knives.
• Slippery floors, cold temperatures, and loud ambient noise.
• Ability to work 50+ hours per week.

Necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided.
