Sanitation Associate - Day Shift

Role Overview: This position entails maintaining cleanliness and sanitation within a warehouse environment, ensuring safety and productivity. Key Responsibilities: Perform custodial tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and debris disposal. Clean coolers, floors, aisles, and equipment, and support recycling programs. Maintain sanitary conditions in restrooms and warehouse areas, and ensure proper waste removal. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely, with routine inspections and maintenance. Keep work areas organized, ensure safety protocols are followed, and report unsafe conditions. Complete sanitation logs for documentation. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or GED preferred; 1-year warehouse experience recommended. Must be 18+, capable of operating equipment safely, and attentive to detail. Effective communication skills, basic math ability, and reasoning skills are essential. Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in noisy, cold, or humid environments. Work Environment: Primarily warehouse-based, with exposure to moving equipment, cold storage, and various environmental conditions. Flexibility to work different shifts and adhere to safety and regulatory standards is required.
