Sanitation Associate - 2nd shift

About the role

Ornua is seeking a Sanitation Associate to join the Ornua Family as we continue our growth trajectory. This position plays a key role in maintaining a sanitary environment to ensure a safe and effective start of production and processing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean equipment and work areas, including the laboratory, production, and all other areas assigned using chemical cleaning solutions, hand tools, and pressurized sanitation equipment.
• Inspect sanitation work and follow up as appropriate to ensure all operating and sanitation standards have been met.
• Complete all necessary cleaning and workplace sanitation requirements.
• Record production information in a tablet, computer, or by hand.
• Attend all required company training.
• Demonstrate commitment to Safety, Food Safety, and Quality management systems.
• Afford support in inventory of chemicals, cleaning supplies, and parts required.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding equipment issues, food safety issues, quality issues, safety issues, and sanitation processes and procedures that need review.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• One to two years of previous sanitation experience, preferably in the food and beverage industry.

Pay

• $22.50 per hour, plus a 10% shift differential.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday, 4 pm – 12 am (midnight), with potential for overtime.
