Sanitation Assistant Foreperson

Job Description

• Effectively rotates tasks and delegates responsibilities fairly and without bias.
• Enforces safety and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO).
• Performs chemical titrations.
• Employs Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) while recording sanitation task completion.
• Inspects work areas post sanitation to ensure cleanliness and tags equipment accordingly.
• Communicates instructions given by Sanitation Supervisor and acts as the liaison.
• Performs cleans according to the Standard Sanitation Operating Procedure (SSOP) with emphasis on safety.
• Takes inventory of sanitation supplies and effectively communicates need or deficiency.
• Looks for opportunities for improvement.
• Affords assistance in team member training and onboarding to effectively acclimate new hires or transfers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and GMPs.

Pay

• $15.00 - $17.00 per hour based on experience.
