Sanitation - 3rd shift

About the role

Cooper Farms is a family-owned farm and food company based in Northwest Ohio for over 85 years. Our Van Wert Cooked Meats Plant in Van Wert County, Ohio creates, cooks, and slices some of the highest quality deli products on the market for brands you know and trust. We are currently seeking a 3rd shift Sanitation Associate to join our team in Van Wert.

Schedule

Sunday through Friday, 11:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Pay

Starting hourly rate: $20.00 with potential increase to $20.65 after 90 days. Additional pay includes monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses dependent upon company performance.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitizing all production equipment, machinery, conveyors, and floors
• Labeling, mixing, handling, and proper usage of cleaning chemicals
• Emptying all trash containers
• Wearing all required PPE and rotating with other team members as directed

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 100 pounds
