Sanitation 2nd & 3rd Shift

Schedule: Monday–Friday with possible Saturdays. 2nd shift: 7:30 PM until finished; 3rd shift: 9:00 PM until finished.

Pay: $23.65/hour plus $1.00 shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize work areas
• Assemble and disassemble equipment while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures
• Dry pickup of area
• Break down and set up equipment as needed
• Use high-pressure hose to rinse area and floor
• Use various chemicals to foam and scrub floor
• Visually check area for cleanliness
• Work closely with Quality Assurance and USDA
• Uphold the principles of SQF 2000
• Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor, or Superintendent

Requirements

• Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35°F for a minimum of 8 hours
• Ability to become certified in Tyson’s Lock Out/Tag Out program
• Must be willing and able to pinch/grip product/equipment
• Familiar with safe operation and use of high-pressure hoses and sanitation chemicals
• Must be willing and able to perform the following tasks for periods of 8 hours on a concrete floor: bending, twisting, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting
• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Must have 6 months of continuous employment in the last 18 months
• Preferred: at least 6 months of relevant machine operator, warehouse, agriculture, or production experience
• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
