Essential Responsibilities
- Read work orders and production paperwork to determine required processing
- Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, smooth, or prepare metal surfaces
- Remove burrs and sharp edges using hand tools, grinders, and other equipment
- Clean metal parts using degreasing equipment and approved cleaning solutions
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Complete required production paperwork and electronic tracking
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Meet established production and quality expectations
- Follow all company safety procedures
- Work cooperatively with supervisors and coworkers
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Dependable attendance
- Ability to follow written instructions
- Ability to read an analog clock and tape measure
- Basic math and geometry skills
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to lift parts and materials as needed
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
- Must be a U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the United States, as required for certain customer and government-related work
Preferred:
- Manufacturing or machine operation experience
- Experience working with various metals
- Experience reading blueprints or technical drawings
- Experience with sandblasting, deburring, polishing, or similar finishing processes
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $27.00 per hour
- Shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM + Overtime as Needed (4-Day Work Week)
- Signing Bonus: $1,500 (New hires only. Current employees are not eligible.)
