Sand and Gravel Equipment Operator/ Dredge Operator/ Plant Operator

Position:

Equipment/ Dredge Operator - 2 yrs. Experience Preferred

Job Duties:

• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS BACKGROUND CHECK
• An Equipment Operator performs a variety of skilled duties associated with the operation of multiple types of equipment in a sand and gravel pit environment. This includes operating all equipment in compliance with the company’s safety policies and procedures.
• The Equipment Operator also ensures that company equipment, materials and the work site are maintained, kept clean and stored in a safe manner.

Equipment:

• Loader
• Excavator
• Haul Truck
• Skid Steer
• Screening Plant and Dredge Operations

Environmental Working Conditions:

• All work is performed outside in heat, cold, and inclement weather.
• Exposure to all elements of nature
• Exposure to all types of terrain
• Exposure to loud noise
• Exposure to fumes, odors, gasses, dusts, etc.
• Work in close proximity to heavy traffic

Physical Requirements:

• Standing
• Walking
• Climbing, stooping and bending
• Periodic lifting of 10 to 50 pounds
• Duties may require working from heights
