DREDGE OPERATOR
Responsibilities
- Operate dredge, participate in preventative maintenance, repair and labor, including clean-up duties, oiling, lubrication, and miscellaneous repairs.
- Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed.
- Operate forklift, bobcat, front loader, and manlift (in a safe and efficient manner) as required on company property only.
- Perform other duties assigned as needed.
Requirements
- Basic equipment operating abilities and mechanical knowledge preferred.
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift, push, pull, and be on your feet for long periods of time, in all weather conditions.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam and drug screen.
- Ability to work flexible shifts which include nights, some days weekends and overtime.
- Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customers.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include basic equipment operating abilities and mechanical knowledge, ability to bend, stoop, lift, push, pull, and be on your feet for long periods of time, in all weather conditions, ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam and drug screen, ability to work flexible shifts which include nights, some days weekends and overtime, and display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customers.
