San Marcos Caregiver 5 Hour Day Shifts

Location: San Marcos, San Diego North County

Join Cheer Home Care and help bring joy to our clients' lives. As a Cheer Home Care Aide, you will provide compassionate non-medical home care services to the elderly and disabled. Your main focus will be on providing companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation services, all designed to help our clients maintain a comfortable and fulfilling life at home.

Responsibilities

• Personal care with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, toileting, personal hygiene assistance, and light meal prep
• Transportation services to clients for medical appointments
• Dementia Care, Alzheimer's Care, Parkinson's Care, Hospice Care, and more
• Hourly Care
• Light housekeeping and organization
• Helping with activities of daily living
• Experience providing bed-level patient care (turning, repositioning, hygiene, feeding, toileting)
• Safely assist non-ambulatory patients

Requirements

• Strong organizational & communication skills
• Certifications that are preferred but NOT required: CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED
• Able to drive client in their own personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement)
• Cell phone with internet access

Pay

Hourly Rate: $20 to $23, depending on experience, certifications, reference reviews, car access, and more

Schedule

• 5-hour AM shift on Monday and Thursday (8am-1pm)
• Flexible Schedule: Full-time or part-time, based on your availability and travel preferences
• Holiday Pay: Time and a half
• Weekly Payments
