San Marcos Caregiver 5 Hour Day Shifts

About the role

Join Cheer Home Care and provide compassionate non-medical home care services to the elderly and disabled. Your focus will be on companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation to help clients maintain a comfortable and fulfilling life at home.

Responsibilities

• Personal care with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, toileting, personal hygiene assistance, and light meal prep
• Transportation services to clients for medical appointments
• Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Hospice Care
• Hourly Care
• Light housekeeping and organization
• Assisting with bed-level patient care (turning, repositioning, hygiene, feeding, toileting)

Requirements

• Experience helping with activities of daily living
• Experience providing bed-level patient care
• Ability to safely assist non-ambulatory patients
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Able to drive client in their own personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided)
• Cell phone with internet access

Preferred (but not required) certifications: CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED.

Pay

Hourly rate: $20 to $23, depending on experience, certifications, reference reviews, and car access.

Schedule

5-hour AM shift on Monday and Thursday (8am-1pm). Flexible full-time or part-time options based on your availability and travel preferences.
