Sample Prep Technician
About the role
Support microbiology testing by preparing, processing, and tracking samples while maintaining an organized and efficient laboratory environment in a fast-paced microbiology laboratory that supports dietary supplement and probiotic testing with a focus on quality and turnaround times.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process samples for testing.
- Label, track, and store samples accurately.
- Maintain laboratory supplies and equipment.
- Perform environmental swabbing and routine lab tasks.
- Complete daily sample counts and productivity metrics.
- Clean and sanitize laboratory work areas.
- Assist with laboratory projects and continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; science coursework or degree preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or laboratory experience is a plus.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, and internal equity.
