Sample Management Technician

Responsibilities
- Receive and document samples from clients, couriers, shipping, laboratory, and/or field staff
- Verify that all samples meet condition standards and comply with organizational policies, quality requirements, and applicable regulatory guidelines
- Accurately record sample information, details, and required analyses in laboratory software system
- Label, organize, and distribute samples to appropriate personnel in a timely manner
- Maintain orderly and secure sample storage areas and oversee the proper placement, retrieval, and disposal of samples in accordance with established protocols
- Prepare sample kits and manage outbound shipments as required
- Provide assistance to colleagues and support related operational functions, including inventory management, supply preparation, and general support activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience performing accurate data entry and/or administrative support with strong attention to detail
- Hands-on experience in a professional laboratory or sample management environment strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer applications

Work Schedule
Full-time position following a standard Monday through Friday schedule. Ability to work outside of scheduled hours, including evenings or weekends, as required to meet operational or workload needs.
