Sample Disposal Technician- Temporary

Job Description

The Sample Dispoal Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Prepare samples for processing.
• Distributes samples in different departments as appropriate.
• Follows strict safety and quality control procedures.
• Stores, restocks, and shelves samples as necessary.
• Ensures that work area is clean and organized.
• Enters records in LIMS system.
• Aids sample receiving group with unpacking coolers and labeling samples.
• Aids and oversees all the different aspects of storing, distributing, logging, and disposing samples.

Qualifications

• Basic Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• The ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills.
• The ability to pay close attention to detail.
• The ability to use LIMS software competently (will train).
• The ability to possess basic math skills.
• The ability to work well with a team.
• The ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• The ability to demonstrate solid problem-solving skills.
• The ability to demonstrate awareness of safety procedures.

Additional Information

• Position is 1st shift, Monday- Friday, 8 AM- 4 PM, located at our Barberton, OH location.
• Temporary, Seasonal Role
• Position Pay Range: $18- $19/hr starting range based on experience.
