Responsibilities

• Lead and support the day-to-day operations of the Sample Department.
• Cook up daily workloads and priorities to ensure all sample requests are fulfilled and shipped on schedule.
• Provide direction and support to team members to maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to department activities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Logistics, and other departments to ensure customer needs are met.
• Communicate priorities, production status, and potential delays to relevant stakeholders.
• Aid in resolving operational issues and escalations that impact customer service or delivery timelines.
• Ensure all samples meet company quality standards before shipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
• Support training and onboarding of new team members.

Requirements

• Experience in a supervisory, team lead, manufacturing, production, or operations role.
• Proven experience managing workflows, processes, and team performance in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently while leading and motivating a team.

Preferred

• Experience in manufacturing, production, fulfillment, or sample management operations.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM/ERP systems.
• Knowledge of inventory management and shipping processes.
• Leverage Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or process optimization experience.
