The Sample Department Team Lead
Acoufelt specializes in delivering high-quality soft architectural acoustics solutions tailored to the unique needs of our clients. We work with contractors, ceiling sub-contractors, designers, and architects to provide products that enhance and transform interior workspaces. Our portfolio includes a range of premium soft architectural materials and products designed for commercial projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the day-to-day operations of the Sample Department.
- Cook up daily workloads and priorities to ensure all sample requests are fulfilled and shipped on schedule.
- Provide direction and support to team members to maintain productivity and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to department activities.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Logistics, and other departments to ensure customer needs are met.
- Communicate priorities, production status, and potential delays to relevant stakeholders.
- Aid in resolving operational issues and escalations that impact customer service or delivery timelines.
- Ensure all samples meet company quality standards before shipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Support training and onboarding of new team members.
Requirements
- Experience in a supervisory, team lead, manufacturing, production, or operations role.
- Proven experience managing workflows, processes, and team performance in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently while leading and motivating a team.
Preferred
- Experience in manufacturing, production, fulfillment, or sample management operations.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM/ERP systems.
- Knowledge of inventory management and shipping processes.
- Leverage Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or process optimization experience.
