Job Purpose
The Account Manager is responsible for managing customer relationships, generating sales, and ensuring timely delivery of requested products and services.
Job Duties
- Generate sales among client accounts, including upset selling and cross-selling
- Operate as the primary point of contact for assigned customers
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with accounts
- Ensure clients receive requested products and services in a timely manner
- Communicate client needs and demands to the employer company
- Forecast and track client account metrics
- Manage projects within client relationships, aligning with both client and company goals
- Identify opportunities to grow business with existing clients
- Collaborate with staff members working on the same account to ensure consistent service
- Coordinate with the sales team to reach prospective clients
- Service multiple clients concurrently, meeting deadlines
- Keep records of client transactions
