Position Overview
Seeking a skilled RN to provide high-quality peri-operative care in a collaborative surgical environment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating patients prior to surgery
- Educating patients and families
- Preparing patients with IV therapy and medications
- Ensuring surgical site verification per protocols
- Recognizing and responding to patient emergencies
- Monitoring patient conditions
- Documenting thoroughly
- Participating in team-based care with providers, surgeons, and technologists
- Applying evidence-based practices, critical thinking, and leadership to ensure patient safety and care excellence
Qualifications
- RN license with at least 1 year of experience
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months
- Educational requirements: Bachelor's, Master's, or Associate Degree
