About the role
We are seeking a Same Day Surgery Nurse to join a team-oriented Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this ambulatory setting, you will provide pre- and post-operative care, including patient assessments, IV starts, medication administration, and recovery monitoring. You will also educate patients and families on procedures and discharge instructions, collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and support staff.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Experience in surgical or ambulatory care preferred
- Strong patient assessment and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare team members
