Responsibilities

  • Receive information from the opposite shift regarding work assignments and production to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Visually ensure machinery is functioning normally and within established guidelines; responsible for the care and damage prevention of equipment.
  • Operate a forklift in a safe and compliant manner; must complete OSHA Forklift Certification with a passing grade.
  • Work different shifts as required, including rotating shifts (days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays).
  • Rework damaged pallets on a daily basis during the current shift.
  • Adhere to cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) protocol.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively both individually and in a team environment while adhering to Company Core Principles.
  • Communicate concisely, clearly, and accurately, both in writing and verbally (including over radio and face-to-face).
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize daily and weekly tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, accuracy, and thoroughness in all tasks; apply feedback to improve performance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency required.
  • OSHA-approved forklift certification required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality task performance.
  • Basic math competency, including entry-level algebra.
  • Ability to collect and assemble data logically.

Skills

  • PC literate with proficiency in Word, Outlook, E1, and Access.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and treat others with respect.
  • Planning and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.

Essential Job Functions

  • Regularly required to sit, use hands to finger/handle, talk, and hear.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
