Salt Life returns to retail, enters fragrance category

Salt Life is returning to brick-and-mortar retail with the opening of a new store on Sanibel Island, Florida.

• Iconix International acquired Salt Life from Delta Apparel in 2024 for $38.74 million.

• The acquisition led to the closure of all 28 Salt Life stores.

• Iconix plans to revive the brand through e-commerce and wholesale channels.

• The Sanibel location marks the first of several planned store openings.
