Salon Assistant - Geneva

About the role

We are looking for Salon Assistants who want to make an impact in the beauty industry by supporting Hairstylists and Hair Colorists in a leading experiential salon and spa.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high standard of assistance to Hairstylists and Hair Colorists by performing:
  • Shampooing clients
  • Applying and monitoring treatments
  • Executing conditioning treatments
• Maintain salon standards by upkeeping:
  • Blow dry/self-serve stations
  • Hairstylist stations
  • Shampoo areas
  • Dispensary areas
  • Laundry (keeping up with the flow of services)
• Ensure safety standards and cleanliness, keeping the work area clean and equipment properly sanitized.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygienic procedures before, during, and after services; ensure board compliance.
• Be an active and engaged team member promoting teamwork and high-level client services throughout the Salon and Spa.

Requirements

• Experience with retail, hospitality, or customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work various schedules including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to build and maintain strong guest relationships.
• Able to stand on your feet for prolonged periods of time.
