Salon Assistant/Apprentice Position Available

About the role

Secret Agent Salon in Pacific Heights, a bustling and high-end boutique salon, is seeking a motivated, passionate, and professional hair assistant/apprentice to join our team. We use Oribe, R+Co, V76, and other luxury haircare brands. Recently licensed individuals are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Valid California Cosmetology license required
• Fashion-forward, individual appearance
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
• Flexibility for evenings and weekends
• Strong commitment to customer service
• Passion for the latest trends in hair and fashion
• Ability to provide a spa-like experience at the shampoo bowl
• Makeup artist and/or front-desk experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist the salon owners and stylists with shampooing, blow drying, mixing and applying glazes, applying deep conditioners, and other treatments
• Anticipate stylists' needs
• Maintain salon cleanliness
• Accommodate client needs
• Explain and sell products to clients
• Provide own models for class day
