About the role

Last year alone, we were able to keep 10 million pounds of donated goods from hitting our landfills. Through the reselling of donated items, we provide job readiness training and employment opportunities to individuals with disabilities and barriers to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to customers and donors.
• Refer any concerns or complaints to management.
• Accurately ring purchases and follow all cash-handling policies and procedures.
• Maintain the sales floor to be safe, clean, and organized.
• Assist in different areas of the store, such as processing and receiving donations.
• Safeguard company property, including donated goods.
• Place merchandise on display.
• Take inventory of stock and pull merchandise for transfer as directed by management, Sales II, or Key Holder.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned or directed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of recent work experience or successful completion of a GISD employment program.
