Salesperson I

About the role

Provides excellent customer service, rings transactions accurately, and assists in store recovery, cleaning, and merchandising. Works to fill the sales floor with new arrivals and removes merchandise as needed. Accepts donations and assists with production tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service to customers and donors; refers concerns or complaints to management.
• Accurately rings purchases and follows all cash handling policies and procedures.
• Maintains the sales floor in a safe, clean, and organized condition.
• Assists in different areas of the store, such as processing and receiving donations.
• Safeguards company property, including donated goods.
• Places merchandise on display and manages stock inventory.
• Pulls merchandise for transfer as directed by management, Sales II, or Key Holder.
• Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned or directed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of recent work experience or successful completion of a GISD employment program.
