About the role

The Victoria Television Group is seeking a Salesperson to manage and grow transactional business, as well as focus on prospecting and closing new business in the Victoria, Texas Television market.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow existing business relationships
• Prospect and close new business opportunities
• Train and assist in the development of new sales strategies
• Work closely with the Managing Editor/Anchor to ensure successful execution of sales plans

Requirements

• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Passion for success in the broadcasting industry

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or related field preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

$45,000 to $100,000 your first year, with potential for higher earnings based on performance.

Schedule

Full-time position with flexible hours to accommodate the needs of the sales team.
