About the role

As a Salesforce UI/UX Design Architect at the Manager level within Accenture’s Salesforce Business Group, you operate at a critical intersection of platform depth and functional insight. You contribute meaningfully to architecture discussions while maintaining a strong understanding of business needs. You ask the right questions, learn quickly, and apply both technical and functional perspectives. This role is designed for growth into full Solution Architect ownership, offering the right program to develop your skills.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end solution design for Salesforce implementations, contributing to architecture decisions across functional configuration, data model, and integration under the guidance of senior architects.
• Translate business requirements into Salesforce solution options, participating in design sessions and requirement workshops with client stakeholders and internal teams.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, bridging the gap between business needs and platform capabilities. Wear both functional and technical hats as needed to shape requirements or ground design decisions.
• Maintain solution documentation, including solution design documents (SDDs), data flow diagrams, and configuration workbooks, ensuring accuracy as designs evolve.
• Identify design gaps, cross-workstream dependencies, and potential risks; escalate issues and contribute to resolution discussions.
• Review configuration and development work to ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and client-specific standards, with guidance from senior team members.
• Support estimation and scoping activities during pursuit and early delivery phases, contributing to technical and functional sections of proposals.
• Pursue Salesforce certifications relevant to the Solution Architect career path and contribute to practice development through documentation of lessons learned and reusable assets.
• Travel may be required, ranging from 0% to 100% depending on business needs and client requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Salesforce, including Salesforce Lightning Experience, Lightning Design System (SLDS), and platform capabilities (declarative vs. custom).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with User Experience (UX) Design: human-centered design, user research, journey mapping, usability testing, and iterative design.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with UI & Interaction Design: wireframing, prototyping, and visual design using tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Enterprise Workflow Design: simplifying complex CRM workflows and designing efficient end-to-end user journeys.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years of work experience.

Pay

Compensation varies based on factors such as location, role, skill set, and experience. Below are the annual salary ranges for this role by location:

• California: $94,400 to $266,300
• Cleveland: $87,400 to $213,000
• Colorado: $94,400 to $230,000
• District of Columbia: $100,500 to $245,000
• Illinois: $87,400 to $230,000
• Maine: $80,400 to $196,000
• Maryland: $94,400 to $230,000
• Massachusetts: $94,400 to $245,000
• Minnesota: $94,400 to $230,000
• New York: $87,400 to $266,300
• New Jersey: $100,500 to $266,300
• Virginia: $87,400 to $245,000
• Washington: $100,500 to $245,000
