Salesforce Technical Lead (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Salesforce Technical Lead to join the team of a leader in the Legal & Accounting space. This remote role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will collaborate across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture, execution quality, and long-term technology capabilities.

Location: Remote (US-based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available).

Responsibilities

• Own the Salesforce platform architecture and ensure its technical health
• Lead the design and delivery of complex Salesforce features and integrations
• Manage and mentor a team of Salesforce Engineers, providing technical guidance
• Architect integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems using Boomi
• Define coding standards and oversee release management practices
• Conduct discovery sessions to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Evaluate AppExchange solutions and provide insights on build-vs-buy decisions

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Salesforce engineering experience, with at least 2 in a senior role
• Expert-level proficiency in Apex, including asynchronous programming
• Salesforce Platform Developer II certification required; higher-level certifications preferred
• Proven track record in designing Salesforce integrations with enterprise systems
• Strong grasp of the Salesforce security model and data access patterns
• Familiarity with SFDX, CI/CD pipelines, and version-controlled development
• Experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams

Pay

$175,000 – $188,125 annually
