About the role

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the office. Hiring locations include Nashville, TN; Atlanta, GA; Columbus, OH; Dallas, TX; Chesterbrook, PA; or Orlando, FL (qualified candidates only).

The Salesforce Health Cloud Development Lead is responsible for leading the development and technical execution of Salesforce Health Cloud solutions for healthcare organizations. This role focuses on overseeing a team of developers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality customizations, integrations, and applications within the Salesforce platform. The Development Lead will work closely with architects, business analysts, and project managers to design, develop, and deploy solutions that meet the unique needs of the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of Salesforce Health applications implemented by Accenture.
  • Exhibit expert knowledge in DevOps (including tools), CI/CD concepts, and healthcare-specific integrations.
  • Own and facilitate key technical meetings with client counterparts and technology partner leadership.
  • Lead or own code review activities.
  • Own all aspects of technology architecture design and technical documentation for Salesforce applications.
  • Actively assess technical risks and potential issues, proposing mitigations and strategies to resolve them.
  • Own most or all deliverables in their respective workstream, creating plans for deliverable completion with minimal oversight.
  • Lead technical architecture teams and manage multiple onshore and offshore teams.
  • Work directly with integration partner leadership and other client technology leadership sponsors.
  • Advise and lead others in identifying, planning for, and resolving complex technical problems.
  • Serve as an expert in Salesforce development, MuleSoft development, or DevOps setup.
  • Lead technical architecture activities and recommend best practices for building and scaling Salesforce applications.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and foster a positive culture within teams.
  • Collaborate with non-technical resources to assist in their understanding of technical concepts.
  • Play a lead role in technology workshops with clients and technology integration partners.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Salesforce Development, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Health Cloud.
  • Salesforce Health Cloud Consultant Certification.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer Certification.
  • Salesforce Admin Certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years of work experience; if Associate Degree, minimum 6 years of work experience).

Skills

Bonus points if you have:

  • Proven experience managing a development team, leading development projects, and delivering Salesforce Health Cloud solutions in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce development tools such as Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and the Salesforce Platform.
  • Platform App Builder Certification.
  • Data Cloud Certification.
  • MuleSoft Certification.

Pay

Compensation at Accenture varies based on factors such as office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The following are reasonable ranges of annual salary for this role by location:

  • California: $94,400 to $266,300
  • Cleveland: $87,400 to $213,000
  • Colorado: $94,400 to $230,000
  • District of Columbia: $100,500 to $245,000
  • Illinois: $87,400 to $230,000
  • Maine: $80,400 to $196,000
  • Maryland: $94,400 to $230,000
  • Massachusetts: $94,400 to $245,000
  • Minnesota: $94,400 to $230,000
  • New York: $87,400 to $266,300
  • New Jersey: $100,500 to $266,300
  • Virginia: $87,400 to $245,000
  • Washington: $100,500 to $245,000
