About the role

The Software Engineer will play a crucial role on the Digital Patient Experience team and the CRM Platform Management team, focusing on Salesforce HealthCloud solutions. They will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting various technical platforms, including software, networks, hardware, and databases.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and support technical solutions, including critical infrastructure, network, application, database, and security frameworks.
  • Monitor and optimize platform performance, availability, and capacity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform issues across multiple environments.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new platforms and services.
  • Support security hardening and vulnerability remediation efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and technical projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a systems engineer or related position.
  • Proficient in administering enterprise systems and platforms.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Strong understanding of data structures and database systems.
  • Intermediate scripting and automation skills to streamline operational tasks.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid environments.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex system and application issues.
  • Experience with system monitoring tools and interpreting performance data.
  • Understanding of system security concepts and the implementation of security-leading practices.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Skills for Success

  • Preferred: Salesforce Developer Certifications (Platform Developer 1, Platform Developer 2, Javascript Certified Developer), Salesforce Administrator Certifications (Administrator 201, Administrator 301 preferred).
  • Experience with Object Oriented Programming Languages: Java experience required.
  • Experience with .NET Core, C#, React, MVC, HTML/JavaScript/Ajax, and XML preferred.
  • Experience with the Lightning Framework and the creation of Lightning Web Components.
  • Experience with responsive UI design utilizing frameworks like Bootstrap preferred.
  • Experience with Relational Database design and development using MS SQL Server.
  • Experience developing Integration Web Services with RESTful and SOAP protocols.
  • Experience with APIs, Integration principles (ideally including Epic).
  • Proficiency with developing reports is desired.
  • Experience with Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Team Foundation Server, Azure Dev Ops, and SharePoint is desired.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum or CMMI software development methodologies is desired.

Pay Range

$75,275.20 - $109,553.60/Annual, Grade 6
