Core Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and clarify Salesforce requirements.
- Analyze existing Salesforce configurations and recommend enhancements or new solutions that align with business goals.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, detailed user stories, and process documentation.
- Configure and support Salesforce features, including custom objects, fields, flows, validation rules, reports, and dashboards.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of Salesforce development environment and declarative capabilities.
- Collaborate with Salesforce Analysts, Developers, and cross-functional teams on enhancements, releases, and solution design.
- Design and support enhancements leveraging AI Agentforce and Data Cloud capabilities.
- Create and maintain documentation, including process maps, data flows, and functional requirements.
- Support testing activities (UAT), manage defect tracking, and conduct post-release validation.
- Partner with the business to support and maintain alignment with Xylem’s global Salesforce standards.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Independently determine approach to complex problems and propose effective, scalable solutions.
- Develop test plans and conduct validation testing for new and existing functionality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field with 5–7 years of experience; or Master’s degree with 4–7 years of experience.
- 4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Analyst.
- Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM‑201).
- Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process modeling, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency with Salesforce reporting and dashboard creation.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and core platform capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to solve complex problems where limited standardization exists.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Business Analyst Certification (BA‑201).
- Experience with Agentforce, Data Cloud, and advanced Flow capabilities.
- Familiarity with integrations, data migration, and data quality tools.
