Salesforce QA Automation Engineer
About the role
We are seeking a Salesforce QA Automation Engineer to join our Sales & Service Technology team. In this role, you will design, develop, and enhance automated testing solutions that ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise Salesforce and distributed web service applications. Working in a fast-paced Agile environment, you'll collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and developers to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts for Salesforce and integrated applications.
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and performance tests for new and enhanced features.
- Perform API testing using RESTful services and automation tools.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Developers to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support testing initiatives across cloud-based, distributed, and web-based applications.
- Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of QA Automation experience in enterprise or distributed application environments.
- Hands-on experience with API testing and automation tools such as Postman, Swagger, Rest-Assured, and JMeter.
- Knowledge of the Java Spring ecosystem and cloud technologies, including Maven, Bitbucket, Bamboo, MongoDB, Kafka, and Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience testing and validating Salesforce Platform solutions preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), API automation, performance testing, Salesforce testing, and cloud-based application quality assurance.
