Description
The candidate has prior experience working on a Salesforce implementation project in a project or product managerial capacity. Directly participated in an actual Salesforce implementation (not just theoretical knowledge). Have a sufficient understanding of Salesforce basics to effectively lead and drive the initiative for the new Salesforce org/instance we are building. From a tactical perspective, the manager expects the candidate to:
- Develop project roadmaps, maintain timelines, and proactively manage risks to ensure alignment with goals
- Partner closely with Product Owner(s)/Team(s), Project Management Office, Sponsors, functional business areas, IT and marketing teams to measure and oversee quality throughout the product lifecycle.
- Acquire high level strategic direction and business priorities from Program Sponsors.
- Facilitates creation of product vision and goals with product owner and program sponsors.
- Facilitate definition of product MVP by educating, providing guidance, driving decisions and consensus. Communicate MVP and gather approvals.
- Maintain and manage MVP scope by following established processes and communication plans.
- Define product roadmap/timelines with inputs from Product Owner(s)/Teams(s) specifying goals, strategy, dependencies, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources.
- Prioritize features/capabilities working with Product Owner and IT. Including Sprint Planning, Support and Tech updates.
- Identify and maintain list of SMEs crucial to product execution.
- Identify end-user lists and roles for product.
- Stay informed and aware of as-is and to-be business processes with the system component/product in perspective.
- Train with Product Owner to acquire business knowledge with the system component/product so as to act as proxy when/if required.
- Share and communicate business process impacts so team members responsible for Change Management can plan and execute.
- Work with IT Project Manager to translate roadmap into build priorities.
- Facilitate UAT script and plan discussions between users/customers, SMEs and Business Analyst.
- Plan and facilitate UAT.
- Escalate data related challenges to Data owner/team.
- Responsible for issue resolution, escalation plan, risk mitigation, communication plan coordination with process Improvement team and regular updates to Product Team and PMO.
- Communicate project milestone and deliverable status to Product Team and PMO.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings, internal and external communications in support of project goals and activities (UAT, training, launch, hypercare).
- Coordinate user acceptance testing and work with IT to ensure traceability to original requirements.
- Develop and manage business cutover plans, implementation / roll out.
- Administer, manage hypercare activities, communication and tracking.
- Implement, monitor and report on key metrics.
- Responsible for managing content creation and documentation management in support of program.
- Participate/conduct stakeholder focus groups for input.
- Effectively use project artifacts, tools, and templates to communicate progress and capture outcomes, next steps, and decisions.
- Leverage industry best practices in adoption and implementation of project management practices, governance and processes.
- Execute the launch of new products and features for the product.
- Manage scope and the change request process, coordinating decision process of scope and budgetary impact of changes from original specifications.
- Occasionally travel to Clean Earth facilities.
- Lead and/or participate in key meetings like Product Team updates, Project Coordination, Steering committee and PMO.
- Leverage industry best practices in adoption and implementation of project management practices, governance and processes.
- Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Required:
- Prior experience working on a Salesforce implementation project in a project or product managerial capacity.

- Sufficient understanding of Salesforce basics to effectively lead and drive the initiative for the new Salesforce org/instance we are building.
