Salesforce Developer with nCino Experience

About the role

The nCino Developer is responsible for maintaining and enhancing nCino capabilities supporting commercial lending workflows. This role requires strong hands-on development experience combined with solid Salesforce administrative skills, including configuration and data management. The position demands a deep understanding of commercial lending processes and how they are implemented within nCino. This is a 6‑Month Contract‑to‑Hire (W2 only) fully remote position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance nCino functionality supporting commercial lending implementations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across nCino and the Salesforce platform.
• Configure and customize nCino features to align with business needs and processes.
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for nCino‑related functionality.
• Stay current with nCino and Salesforce releases, proactively identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.
• Create and maintain documentation for nCino processes, configurations, and best practices.
• Build and manage declarative automation (Flows, approval processes, assignment rules).
• Comply with all regulations pertaining to BSA, USA PATRIOT ACT, and OFAC.
• Complete annual BSA training.
• Report suspicions of criminal activity, or any attempt to avoid BSA reporting requirements on the part of customers or employees, to the AML/BSA Compliance Department.
• For supervisory positions, ensure BSA training requirements are completed by staff.
• Performs other job duties as deemed necessary by supervisor.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5‑7 years of experience in nCino platform in addition to 5‑7 years of Salesforce Admin/Dev experience.
• Preferred: Advanced degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related field and experience working in the financial services industry.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

• Required: nCino Certified System Administrator.
• nCino Developer Certification.
• Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA).
• Salesforce Platform Developer I.
• Preferred: Salesforce Advanced Administrator.
• Salesforce Platform Developer II.

Skills

• Strong understanding of commercial lending processes and lifecycle.
• Deep knowledge of nCino capabilities and functionality.
• Solid Salesforce administration expertise (roles, profiles, permissions, sharing model).
• Strong understanding of data management principles and best practices.
• Experience with Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
