Salesforce Developer - Raleigh, NC (Hybrid Role)

About the role

Salesforce Developer position in Raleigh, NC (Hybrid) for a 6‑12+ month contract. Design and deliver end‑to‑end solutions on Salesforce Government Cloud for Child Welfare program applications, supporting mission‑critical public‑sector programs in case management, licensing, and service operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end‑to‑end solutions on Salesforce Government Cloud for Child Welfare program applications.
• Support mission‑critical public‑sector programs in areas like case management, licensing, and service operations.
• Ensure solutions align with program objectives, technical standards, security requirements, and long‑term platform strategy.
• Lead technical discovery sessions with product owners and stakeholders to gather and define requirements.
• Evaluate solution options and recommend best‑fit approaches based on requirements.
• Lead and design integration blueprints, configuration strategies, and system architecture.
• Develop Salesforce components including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and integrations.
• Follow established engineering practices and comply with platform governance policies.
• Review Salesforce release notes (Spring, Summer, Winter) to identify and address breaking changes, deprecations, and feature impacts.
• Assess how platform updates affect existing systems and integrations.
• Apply AI‑driven approaches to enhance Salesforce solutions, including intelligent automation and responsible AI use.

Requirements

• Hands‑on experience in Salesforce configuration, customization, and solution design.
• Strong experience developing with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and integrating with enterprise systems.
• Experience supporting compliance‑heavy or regulated public‑sector programs, or equivalent complex environments.
• Proven ability to lead technical discovery, design sessions, or development teams in a senior or lead role.
