Client is looking for a Salesforce Developer to help develop and evolve the Salesforce Platform with a focus on Sales Cloud while working with a passionate, innovative, and experienced cross-functional team.
About the role
Be part of a large, strong Salesforce development team working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment consisting of many Salesforce products. This role involves designing, coding, unit testing, debugging, and documenting deliverables based on technical configurations developed by analysts and project teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, unit test, debug, and document deliverables based on technical configurations developed by analysts and project teams.
- Familiarize with standard application development methodologies, integration patterns, and coding standards, and comply with those standards.
- Support and troubleshoot existing applications.
- Evaluate and analyze business requirements for new systems and system changes.
- Estimate and track time required to complete work for project budgeting and financial tracking.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
- Strong proficiency in Apex (classes, triggers, batch/schedulable/queueable Apex, asynchronous processing).
- Experience with Visualforce and Lightning Web Components (LWC)/Aura.
- Solid understanding of SOQL/SOSL, including query optimization and governor limit awareness.
- Experience with declarative tools: Flow, validation rules, and workflow automation.
- Experience building and consuming integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, callouts, middleware).
- Working knowledge of the Salesforce data model, security model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules), and multi-org/environment strategies (sandboxes, deployment pipelines).
- Proficiency writing and maintaining Apex test classes with meaningful assertions and adequate coverage (75%+), including updating tests when underlying logic changes.
- Familiarity with version control (GitHub/GitHub Actions) and Salesforce DX, CI-CD deployment practices, and related tools (VSCode/comparable IDE, Workbench).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.

- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions in collaboration with admins, business analysts, and QA.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to code quality, maintainability, and performance.
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Certified Administrator or equivalent experience.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.
- Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant or equivalent experience.
- Mobile solution development experience.
- Knowledge of SQL.
- Understanding of UI design principles and best practices.
