Salesforce Developer Engineer 3

About the role

The Salesforce Developer will play a critical role in designing, engineering, and deploying solutions across Comcast's multi-cloud Salesforce platform. They will collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional business units to deliver robust, scalable, and secure capabilities that support enterprise-level operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and declarative tools.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical specifications and high-quality implementations.
• Implement and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, and third-party platforms.
• Apply enterprise-level development practices including source control, code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines (Copado preferred).
• Configure Salesforce using Flows, validation rules, advanced security models, and Lightning App Builder.
• Support data modeling, data quality, and reporting needs across business units.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues; ensure timely follow-through and documentation.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and daily standups.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases, AI-driven capabilities, platform enhancements, and industry best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Comcast’s Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and long-term scalability.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong proficiency in: Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL HTML, CSS, JavaScript REST/SOAP web services Salesforce Experience Cloud (Required) and Sales Cloud (required) and at least one of: Media Cloud, Service Cloud.
• Proven ability to design and implement complex configurations and custom solutions.
• Experience with GitHub and CI/CD tools (Copado preferred).
• Experience integrating Salesforce with MuleSoft and external systems.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

Pay

Base pay range: $83,626.10 USD - $195,998.68 USD
