Salesforce Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality Salesforce applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Visualforce, and SOQL/SOSL.
• Customize Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud to meet business requirements.
• Develop scalable and reusable components following Salesforce best practices.
• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST, SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware.
• Develop asynchronous processes using Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, Future Methods, and Scheduled Apex.
• Implement automation using Flows, Approval Processes, Validation Rules, and Process Builder (where applicable).
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and security best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Create technical design documents, deployment plans, and support documentation.
• Optimize application performance and ensure platform scalability.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Strong expertise in Apex, Triggers, SOQL, SOSL, and Visualforce.
• Extensive experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components.
• Experience with Salesforce Flows and declarative automation.
• Strong knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Metadata APIs).
• Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with third-party applications.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, including Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, Roles, and Field-Level Security.
• Experience with deployment tools such as Salesforce DX (SFDX), Change Sets, ANT, Gearset, or Copado.
• Proficiency with Git-based version control systems.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (required).
• Salesforce Platform Developer II certification (preferred).
• Salesforce Administrator certification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Integration Platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, etc.).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and automated deployments.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web development frameworks.
